Why "simple" steps and why "9" steps? Is it because there are 9 players on a baseball team, 9 innings to a baseball game, 9 yards in a football game before getting a 1st down again? No reason. It just happened that way. This site is not only about how to determine the risk and the value of your investments or your strategy for retirement but also about the values you apply to those many life choices.

Simple? Not really. Simple to state, simple to read but more difficult to follow with discipline.

Why "Steps"? Think of these steps as a staircase in that you have to start somewhere but really they are all integrated into one plan and will not necessarily be accomplished one at a time in the order given but will "Encourage. Equip. Educate."
